Being in a relationship can feel like a blessing and a curse at the same time. When in a relationship, both partners are expected to play certain roles and when these roles are not fulfilled, stress and tension begins to build up and can potentially harm a relationship. Sometimes, relationships can feel overwhelming and tough to endure on an every day basis. Arguments, “silent treatments,†financial responsibilities and a lack of sex can create feelings of distress and cause you to question the sustainability of your relationship.
When one or both partners experience disturbing thoughts, emotions or events that threaten the survival of their relationship, it is often helpful to speak with a non-judgmental expert in human relations who can listen and offer a different perspective.
